FAQ
Got questions about Smoosh? Don't worry, it's not rocket science – unless you're showering in a spaceship.
What are the popular scents?
Our team here at the Lather Lab are split on our favorites between the cool, calm Citrus Ocean; and the woodsy, earthy Cedarwood Bergamot.
How long do the bars last?
Our soaps last about 3 weeks on average with daily use. The longevity differs between households based on a variety of factors — the amount of lather, the amount of body hair, the frequency of use, and the water type.
If you're looking to extend the life of your soap, you can literally dial things back (drop the soap height inside your Smoosh Body scrubber below the bristles to minimize skin-contact).
What if I have sensitive skin?
All of our soap bars are sensitive-skin friendly, but we did formulate an unscented, uncolored bar for those folks looking for simple, pure cleansing without a scent-experience. Choose the "Unscented" bar from the above products.
Are your soaps antibacterial?
Great question! While Smoosh soaps don't have added antibacterial chemicals in them —studies indicate that traditional soap, such as our cold-processed, all-natural variant, is just as effective as antibacterial soap in preventing infectious illnesses and maintaining optimal hygiene.
Smoosh Ingredients
We list the ingredient list for each soap on it's individual product page. If you have any trouble locating that information, please reach out to us any time.
Smoosh uses natural ingredients in all of its soaps. However, it is still possible that you may be allergic to or experience an adverse reaction to certain ingredients.
We recommend checking the ingredient list for each soap before purchasing or using it. If you ever have any concerns, always patch or spot test any new product by applying the product to a small section of your wrist and waiting 24 hours to see if you have a reaction before using the product.
If any adverse reaction occurs, discontinue use and consult with a medical professional.
